Whole Body Vibration Helps Improve Your Health in Toxic Times

I speak with clients regularly about the benefits of using Whole Body Vibration (WBV).  Many are looking for the commonly known things like weight loss, better circulation or bone density gains. Fact is a proper machine will offer things many are not even aware of.  Quite often when a person begins researching WBV, they discover other reasons that this technology would be an asset for overall better health and not just a new exercise thing.

Today I want to discuss one of those reasons, a BIG one – detoxification, a benefit that many may not be aware of and how WBV can help our body in this process. In looking at an older article I had published on LinkedIn, I felt it was important revisit this topic and share a story from a few years back.

I often have calls from clients wanting to better understand WBV.  Most people are just looking to feel better and maybe lose a few pounds. Many are dealing with some kind of medical concern seeking alternatives to the gym or other traditional activities. I remember a particular day where I spoke with 6 clients; 3 were diagnosed with different types of cancers (one had two types), 2 had severe respiratory issues and the other was dealing with known heavy metal toxicity (cadmium & mercury). It’s so hard to call people you’ve never met, start a discussion and soon after finding yourself both in tears as they share their pain and frustrations.

How they face the fear of not knowing a diagnosis, are they are sick from the side effects of the medications that keep changing until they find one that works and treatments that have that demolished their mind, body and spirit. They’re sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.

We are inundated with toxins daily. While we go about our daily lives with our tech toys and prepacked lunches, we are often too distracted to look up from our desk to realize we are allowing ourselves to be poisoned. Toxins are in our food, our water and the air we are breathing. Electronic devices and our ever expanding wireless network sheds EMFs that effect every system in our body. We are too distracted with how to cover this month’s rent, the latest political drama or whatever epidemic is unfolding this week on social media.

Toxins in the body contribute to a variety of health issues which may include:

– Obesity

– Low energy

– Mental fog

– Low sex drive

– Irritable Bowel Syndrome

– Digestive problems

– Chronic Pain and arthritis

– Skin problems

– Allergies and sensitivities

– Depression

– Cancer

In today’s toxic environment, tissue acid wastes, chemical and heavy metal residues build up in the body resulting in a greater incidence of allergies, mental, and physical incapacitation. To combat the effects, numerous products and programs are available to support the body in its natural cleansing process. More and more alternative health practitioners are introducing detoxification programs to reduce these symptoms and maintain health.

All healing traditions – Egyptian, Native American, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Chinese, Shamanic – except Western Medicine offer body purification as a means of healing and avoiding disease.

An article from the New York Times stated:

Scientists have identified more than 200 industrial chemicals — from pesticides, flame retardants, jet fuel — as well as neurotoxins like lead in the blood or breast milk of Americans, indeed, in people all over our planet. …These have been linked to cancer, genital deformities, lower sperm count, obesity and diminished I.Q. Chronic illness is rising everywhere and the costs of caring for our bodies or our loved ones is putting many in the poor house. For the most part I think many of us understand that we live in a toxic world but feel overwhelmed with it all, just do what our doctor tells us and hope for the best. It’s not like you can avoid ever going outdoors or stop eating but there are ways to help your body purge itself of harmful chemicals and keep its natural defenses functioning strong.

Whole body vibration helps activate your lymphatic system – your body’s natural detoxification system – through movement and muscular activation when using a machine. If you are currently on a cleanse regime or using other detox aids WBV is a great compliment and can help accelerate the detox effects even more.

An increase in circulation expedites oxygen and nutrients to the cells accelerating their ability to dump toxins into the lymph and out of your system. Combining an activity like whole body vibration with good nutrition, hydration and adequate rest/recovery will give your body and its systems the ability to improve detoxification naturally.

Toxicity and ways to remove it from our body is a HUGE topic and there are many detox options out there. Here are some things to be aware of that you can do without a lot of effort or expense to help your body become more alkaline. An acidic body is ideal environment for cancers and other illness to thrive.

Minimize the amount of processed/sugary foods and drinks in your diet. This is probably the most challenging thing to be aware of but it will have a significant impact in the long run. You can test your body’s acidity using litmus paper or pH test strips. They are an inexpensive way to test your acidity at home and can monitor regularly.

Drink filtered water vs buying bottled, many area have fluoridated water. Fluoride’s ability to damage the brain is one of the most active areas of fluoride research today. Over 400 studies have found that fluoride is a neurotoxin (a chemical that can damage the brain) not to mention the pesticides, vehicle emissions and other chemicals that ends up in our air and water sources.

Minimize your exposure to EMFs, WiFi  and other sources of radiation. Yes radiation, those Bluetooth earbuds are literally cooking your brain, very slowly without you even realizing. We are surrounded with wireless tech from the office equipment we work beside to the streetlamps wired and ready to go for the new 5G network.  Turn off your router and wireless devices even just at night while you sleep to give your body some time to recover from all the daily exposure.

Get moving! Lymph backs up with lack of movement, it moves when you move that simple. I know its not that easy for some to just got for a walk or even get up out of your chair, I genuinely understand how big of an ask that is for some dealing with medical/mobility issues.  Even if its just lifting your arms and legs up a few times when your sitting. Breathing exercises can contribute to improvements as well. Just start wherever you can and as often as you can.

Whole Body Vibration Machines can be an effective tool to boost circulation and lymph to further aid in the body’s natural detoxification process. It’s also a low impact alternative that can be used in short sessions throughout the day to start moving and feeling better.
